Senior support - volunteer in elderly care!

Are you a (PhD)student or staff member from any institution within the KU Leuven association and looking to become a volunteer?

Become a senior supporter and bring students and seniors together!

Play music or give hand massages to people with dementia, bake pancakes with older patients in the hospital or push a wheelchair and go on a walk with residents from the elderly care facilities in Leuven. As a senior supporter, you immerse yourself in different forms of elderly care while contributing to the wellbeing of seniors in Belgium! 

What do you get in return?

• Volunteer contract for the organisation(s) where you are active as a senior supporter.
• Professional guidance by UP chaplains and professionals at each organisation.
• Training & guided reflection together with other senior support-volunteers
• contact with other (student-)volunteers (Belgian and international)
• Possibility to register your involvement in iPortfolio .
