CATAPA Café: How "Green" is Green Energy?
@Vooruit (now VIERNULVIER)
12th July
7PM onwards
The transition away from fossil fuels and towards ‘green’ energy sources, such as electric cars, solar panels and wind turbines, has emerged as the solution to the climate crisis ⛐.
But green energy projects require resources, and these must come from somewhere: the Earth.
What is the impact of the ‘green’ transition on people and planet? Who stands to gain (and lose) the most?
Curious about these topics and excited to discuss the just transition with like-minded people? Drop by our CATAPA Café, where we will discuss this topic over a drink.
No expertise or background information on the topic needed, just enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and connect with others. You will also learn more about CATAPA and how to get involved!
Look for the table with the CATAPA flag!
*The discussions will take place in Dutch and/or English (depending on the group)
*The location is accessible by wheelchair.
*We want this event to be accessible to anyone. If you encounter any financial, language or other barriers, or if you have any questions about accessibility, please feel free to send an email to connor.cashell[at]catapa.be.

Vooruit (nu VIERNULVIER)
12 juli
Vanaf 19u
