Red Cross Ukrainian/Russian Volunteer Interpreter

We are an emergency reception center for people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine who are eligible for temporary protection status. We are looking for people who speak Ukrainian or Russian AND English (Dutch or French is a plus) to act as volunteer interpreters between staff of the center and our guests. No previous interpreting experience is required, just a willingness to follow the directions of staff, remain professional in your contact with the guests and meet the standards of behaviour required by the Red Cross.

We offer a chance to help on the front lines of the humanitarian crisis resulting from the conflict in Ukraine. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and meals and tea and coffee will be provided. We plan to provide training for long-term volunteers.
